Second Free Surgical and Medical Camp on 1-18 June 2018

ABA Foundation invited Operation International to conduct their second free surgical and medical camp on June 1-18, 2018 and to teach and to train the local doctors and nurses on modern aspects of Patients Care and treatment.
Operation International, a Nonprofit organization registered under the laws of United States of America isdedicated to saving lives and improving health care of Ugandans by providing free medical health care for those in need in underserved communities, and teach and train the local doctors and nurses on modern aspects of Patient Care and treatment.
Between June 1 and June 18, 2018, Operation International conducted their second Surgical and Medical camp in Uganda on the invitation of ABA Foundation, during which Medical Teams spent considerable time training the Local Doctors and Nurses on modern aspects of Patient Care and Treatment. Operation International also donated equipment to upgrade the Operating Rooms, Recovery Rooms, and other areas of Patient Services at Rakai General Hospital.
The equipment included three (3) operating room tables, three (3) anesthesia machines, four (4) electrocautery machines, four (4) anesthesia patient monitors, four (4) recovery room patients monitors, three (3) suction machines, several clinic patient vitals monitors, transport stretchers, wheel chairs, shelves, and large sum of disposable supplies to treat several hundred patients. 
At the end of the Mission, the Operation International medical teams received a lot of praises from the hospital management, patients, local leaders, and government of Uganda, with request for Operation International to send more teams to Uganda hospitals to help with Patient Care, and to Further Train the Local Healthcare Providers.
Operation International remains committed to working with ABA Foundation in Uganda, and to invest more money, time and medical teams to work on upgrading the hospital infrastructures and training of local medical healthcare professionals over the course of the coming years!
